# JPPrison Player Commands: Complete Reference and Aliases

> Every JPPrison player command with syntax, aliases, permissions, and examples covering economies, autosell, pets, autominer, and minions.

JPPrison ships every player-facing command under the `jpprison.user` permission node, which is granted by default. This page lists every command available to regular players, their aliases, arguments, and behavior.

> [!NOTE]
>
> If a feature is disabled in `config.yml` under `features:`, its command is rejected with the `features.disabled` message. Run `/jpprison reload` after toggling a flag to apply it instantly.

## Conventions

* `<arg>` — required argument
* `[arg]` — optional argument
* `a|b` — pick one (do not type the pipe)

## Core Commands

### `/prison`

The umbrella command for players. Without arguments (or with `help`) shows the player help.

| Subcommand | Description |
| - | - |
| `/prison help` | Lists all player commands. |
| `/prison balance` | Summary of every economy balance, estimated income per hour (from `autosell.yml` and `mining.estimated-blocks-per-minute`), and your 5 cheapest enchant upgrades (current level → next + cost). |
| `/prison prestige` | Global pickaxe prestige. Resets pickaxe XP (never enchants or economies) and raises prestige. May cost an economy defined at `pickaxe.prestige.levels.<n>.cost`. |

### Autosell and Selling

```text /autosell theme={null}
/autosell           (alias: /as)
Toggles auto-sell on/off. With autosell ON, mined blocks
sell directly instead of dropping.
Response: autosell.toggled-on / autosell.toggled-off
```

```text /sell theme={null}
/sell
Sells the item currently in your hand.
Empty hand or nothing sellable: autosell.sell-all-none
```

```text /sellall theme={null}
/sellall            (alias: /sa)
Sells your entire inventory.
Message: autosell.sell-all with {amount} and {name}.
```

## Economy Commands

Every economy defined under `/economies/*.yml` (default: `tokens`, `gems`, plus `money` if Vault is present) automatically gets its own `/<economy>` command. IDs are lowercase.

**/\<economy>** `command`

Balance for that economy. Format follows `economies/<id>.yml` (symbol + decimals).

**/\<economy> pay \<player> \<amount>** `command`

Sends balance to another player (online, or offline if they have played before). Requires `allow-transfers: true` in the economy YAML. You cannot pay yourself.

Errors: `economy.transfer-disallowed`, `transfer-self`, `insufficient`, `invalid-amount`, `transfer-cancelled`.

**/\<economy> top** `command`

Top 10 for that economy (includes offline players, queried directly from SQL).

### Bundled Aliases

```text /tokens theme={null}
/tokens             (alias: /token)
Shortcut for the tokens economy.
```

```text /gems theme={null}
/gems
Shortcut for the gems economy.
```

> [!TIP]
>
> Any new economy you create automatically registers `/<id>` at runtime. No `plugin.yml` edits or recompilation required.

## Leaderboards

| Command | Description |
| - | - |
| `/blockstop` | Top 10 blocks mined. |
| `/xptop` | Top 10 pickaxe XP (includes offline). |

## Pets, Armor, and Crew Menus

> **/pets**
>
> Aliases: `/pet`, `/pet-pets`
>
> Opens the pet picker. Click a pet to open its submenu (equip, armor customization, animations, particles).
>
> `/pets help` explains unlock items, levels, and boosts.

> **/armor**
>
> Aliases: `/armors`
>
> Opens the boost armor menu (equip/unequip sets, view bonuses). Equipping places all 4 real pieces; removal is menu-only.

> **/autominer**
>
> Aliases: `/autominers`, `/miner`
>
> Opens your mining clone menu: START/STOP, status, stored time, and the UPGRADES button.

> **/minion**
>
> Aliases: `/minions`, `/crew`
>
> Opens your crew menu: each mob with its time, deploy/park, PARK ALL button, and per-mob submenu (feed, upgrades).

## Earn Board

**/earn** `command`

Aliases: `/earns`

Opens the earn board: live ranking of which enchant has paid you the most, with window filters (30s, 1m, 5m, 20m, 30m, 1h, 3h, since login) and source filters (all, per-economy, blocks, pickaxe XP).

## Admin Reference Hub

**/guide** `command`

Aliases: `/features`

> [!WARNING]
>
> Requires `jpprison.admin`. Reference hub for developers (files, commands, API, PAPI).

## Amount and Player Rules

* Economy `give`/`remove`/`pay`: decimal numbers > 0 (rounded to display decimals; storage keeps precision).
* Player names for `pay`: accepts offline players who have joined before.
* Tab-complete suggests subcommands and online players.

## Common Errors

> **Unknown command**
>
> The economy or enchant is misspelled, or its `.yml` does not exist. IDs are lowercase; multi-word IDs use hyphens (`token-finder`, `frost-nova`).

> **No permission**
>
> You are missing `jpprison.user` (unlikely; it is default true) or a per-pet permission node. See [Permissions](/commands/permissions.md).

> **Command does nothing**
>
> The feature is turned off in `features:` inside `config.yml`. Toggle it back on and run `/jpprison reload`.

> **`/\<economy\>` with unknown argument**
>
> Only `give`, `remove`, `pay`, and `top` are parsed (plus admin boost syntax). Anything else falls through to your balance. `/tokens foo` shows your token balance.
