# JPPrison Admin Commands: /jpprison, Boosts, and Item Delivery

> Full reference for JPPrison admin commands: /jpprison subcommands, /xpboost, economy give/remove/boost, and every item delivery command.

Every command on this page requires `jpprison.admin` (default `op`). The `/jpprison` command (alias `/jp`) is the umbrella; without arguments or with `help` it prints the admin help (`usage.jpprison`).

> [!WARNING]
>
> When a feature is disabled in `config.yml` under `features:`, its admin command is rejected with `features.disabled`. This applies to `/jpprison backup`, `/jpprison shard`, `/jpprison minion`, and others. Use `/jpprison reload` to apply toggles instantly.

## Core Admin Commands

| Command | Description |
| - | - |
| `/jpprison help` | Admin help list. |
| `/jpprison reload` | Reloads config, messages, economies, enchants, menus, autosell, colors, orbs, remnants, bombs, drills, autominer, minions, loot chests, shards, runes, pets, and armors from disk. Applies `features:` flags immediately. |
| `/jpprison backup` | Immediate backup to `backups/backup-<timestamp>.zip`. Requires `features.backups`. |
| `/jpprison announce <message...>` | Broadcasts to the server. Supports `&` and hex color codes. |
| `/jpprison balance` | Admin version of `/prison balance`. |
| `/jpprison prestige` | Admin version of `/prison prestige`. |

## XP and Boost Inspection

**/jpprison xp \<player> \<amount>** `command` *required*

Grants raw pickaxe XP (no multipliers, no level-up notification), capped at `pickaxe.max-level`. Player must be **online** with exact name. `amount > 0`.

**/jpprison boost \<player>** `command` *required*

Read-only inspection of a player's final multipliers: XP, per-economy rewards, autosell, momentum, drops, key, chance, and upgrade cost, with each source (prestige, xpboost, shards, runes, pet, combo, economy boost). Respects `boosts.global-cap` and marks `(cap)`.

**/jpprison economy** `command`

Opens the in-game economy creator (menu wizard). On finish, writes `economies/<id>.yml` and reloads without restarting. **In-game only.**

## Temporary Boosts

**/xpboost \<player|global> \<mult> \<time>** `command` *required*

Temporary pickaxe XP boost. `mult` is clamped to `1.01..100`; `time` is clamped to `pickaxe.xp-boosts.max-duration-minutes` (default 240).

Valid times: `30s`, `2m`, `2:30m` (minutes:seconds). No `h` or `d`.

```bash Boost examples theme={null}
/xpboost Steve 2 10m
/xpboost global 1.5 30s
```

**/\<economy> \<player|global> \<mult> \<time>** `command` *required*

Temporary boost for that economy (same mechanic as `/xpboost`). Clamp: `1.01..100`, `economy-boosts.max-duration-minutes` (default 240).

```bash Economy boost examples theme={null}
/tokens Steve 2 2m
/gems global 1.5 30s
```

> [!NOTE]
>
> Affected players get a chat notice and sound; the admin sees `xpboost.given`.

## Economy Give / Remove

**/\<economy> give \<player> \<amount>** `command` *required*

Grants balance. Accepts offline players (must have joined before). `amount > 0`.

**/\<economy> remove \<player> \<amount>** `command` *required*

Removes balance. Accepts offline players. Never goes below 0.

```bash Economy admin examples theme={null}
/tokens give Steve 5000
/gems remove Steve 250
```

## Item Delivery

> [!NOTE]
>
> All item delivery commands require the recipient to be **online** with an exact name, except `/jpprison armor reset`, which accepts offline players.

### Orbs

**/jpprison orb give \<player> \<xp> \[count]** `command` *required*

Alias: `/jpprison orbs`. Orb items apply to the pickaxe when clicked in inventory (whole stack consumed). Includes the pickaxe prestige multiplier. `count` defaults to 1. Item appearance from `orbs.yml`.

### Remnants

**/jpprison remnant give \<player> \<enchant> \<levels> \[count]** `command` *required*

Alias: `/jpprison remnants`. Remnants grant levels of a specific enchant when clicked. Requires the pickaxe level of that enchant (`required-pickaxe-level`). `levels > 0`; `count` defaults to 1.

Enchant IDs: any file under `/enchants/*.yml` (`fortune`, `efficiency`, `token-finder`, `meteor`, ...).

```bash Remnant example theme={null}
/jpprison remnant give Steve fortune 5 3
```

### Bombs

**/jpprison bomb give \<player> \[bomb] \[count]** `command` *required*

Alias: `/jpprison bombs`. Throwable bombs (right-click in hand). Omit `[bomb]` for the default bomb. Legacy `/jpprison bomb give <player> <count>` still works.

Bundled IDs: `tnt`, `nuke`, `mini` (from `bombs.yml`).

**/jpprison bomb check** `command`

**In-game.** Diagnostic at your feet: WorldGuard hook status, flag value (`ALLOW`/`DENY`/`undefined`), `require-flag`, and verdict (`WOULD DETONATE` / `WOULD FIZZLE` + reason). Uses the same matrix as real detonation.

### Drills

**/jpprison drill give \<player> \[drill] \[count]** `command` *required*

Alias: `/jpprison drills`. Placeable drills: right-click on the top face of a block to plant the hopper. Legacy `/jpprison drill give <player> <count>` still works.

Bundled IDs: `drill`, `excavator`.

### Autominer

**/jpprison autominer give \<player> \<time>** `command` *required*

Alias: `/jpprison autominers`. Grants mining clone time. Time format: `30s`, `10m`, `2:30m`, `2h`, `1d`, or a plain number (= minutes). Clamped to `max-stored-seconds` (0 = uncapped). Time is only consumed per broken block.

**/jpprison autominer check** `command`

**In-game.** Diagnostic at your feet: hook, flag, stored time, running state, and verdict with reason.

### Minions

**/jpprison minion give \<player> \<minion> \<time> \[count]** `command` *required*

Alias: `/jpprison minions`. Minion time items (right-click in hand to feed that specific mob). Same time format. `count 1..64` (default 1).

Bundled IDs: `zombie`, `pigman`, `villager`.

**/jpprison minion check** `command`

**In-game.** Diagnostic: hook, flag, how many are deployed (`x/max`), and one line per known mob with `{minion}: time (status)`.

### Shards

**/jpprison shard give \<player> \<shard> \[count]** `command` *required*

Alias: `/jpprison shards`. Pickaxe shards: inserted through the shards menu (opened from the pickaxe menu). `count` defaults to 1.

IDs from `shards.yml`: `power-shard`, `xp-shard`, `rich-shard`, `momentum-shard`, `lucky-shard`, `miner-shard`, `harvester-shard`, `key-shard`, `savings-shard`.

### Runes

**/jpprison rune give \<player> \<rune> \[count]** `command` *required*

Alias: `/jpprison runes`. Pickaxe runes: same flow through the runes menu.

IDs from `runes.yml`: `power-rune`, `lucky-rune`, `fortune-rune`, `holy-rune`, `wisdom-rune`, `wealth-rune`, `fervor-rune`, `greed-rune`, `cheap-rune`.

### Pets

**/jpprison pet remove \<player>** `command` *required*

Removes the player's active pet (cleanup).

**/jpprison pet list** `command`

Lists every defined pet ID and name.

**/pets give \<player> \<pet>** `command` *required*

**Admin.** Gives the unlock ITEM for a pet (does not summon it). The item is right-clicked in hand to permanently unlock the pet.

Bundled IDs: `boomber`, `rotty`, `bonez`, `voidwalker`, `ember`, `webby`, `specter`, `hexa`, `grumble`, `venom`, `oinker`, `purrito`, `boing`.

**/pets luckyblock give \<player> \[count]** `command` *required*

**Admin.** Gives pet LuckyBlocks (`count 1..64`, default 1). Right-click in hand triggers a \~7s show and unlocks a random un-owned pet (weighted by `luckyblock-weight` in `pets.yml`).

**/pets luckyblock check** `command`

**In-game.** LuckyBlock diagnostic: item in hand, show in progress, remaining pet pool, menu session state, and verdict.

### Armor Reset

**/jpprison armor reset \<player> \[armor]** `command` *required*

Alias: `/jpprison armors`. Resets a player's armor data (level 1 / 0 XP) and re-equips the highest unlocked set. Accepts offline players. `[armor]` limits the reset to a specific set.

Bundled IDs: `wraps`, `crimson`, `amber`, `moss`, `azure`, `violet`, `chain`, `iron`, `gilded`, `diamond`.

## Time, Multiplier, and Amount Formats

**Boost times**

Applies to `/xpboost` and `/<eco> <player|global> <mult> <time>`.

| Format | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `30s` | 30 seconds |
| `2m` | 2 minutes |
| `2:30m` | 2 minutes 30 seconds |

No `h` or `d`. Multiplier `1.01..100` (clamped). Max duration = `pickaxe.xp-boosts.max-duration-minutes` (XP) or `economy-boosts.max-duration-minutes` (economies), 240 by default.

**Autominer / Minion times**

Applies to `/jpprison autominer|minion give ... <time>`.

| Format | Meaning |
| - | - |
| `30s` | 30 seconds |
| `10m` | 10 minutes |
| `2:30m` | 2 minutes 30 seconds |
| `2h` | 2 hours |
| `1d` | 1 day |
| `45` | 45 minutes (plain number) |

Clamped to `max-stored-seconds` in `minions.yml`/`autominer.yml` (0 = uncapped). Time is spent per broken block, not idle.

**Amounts**

* Economy `give`/`remove`/`pay`: decimals > 0 (rounded to display decimals; storage keeps precision).
* Orb XP and `/jpprison xp`: integers > 0.
* Remnant levels: integers > 0.
* Item `count`: integers > 0; minion and luckyblock clamped to `1..64`.
* Item `give` and `/jpprison xp` require an **online** player with exact name.
* Economy `give`/`remove`/`pay` and `armor reset` accept offline players who have joined before.

## Non-Command Items

Some items are not commands but are worth knowing when handing them out.

> **XP Orbs (orbs.yml)**
>
> Click the orb onto the pickaxe (or vice-versa) in any inventory. Consumes the full stack, applies `xp*count` with the pickaxe prestige multiplier, and refreshes the lore. At `pickaxe.max-level` the click is rejected with `orbs.max-level`.

> **Remnants (remnants.yml)**
>
> Same gesture as orbs. Grants levels of the specified enchant (prestige-capped). If the enchant is locked by pickaxe level: `remnants.locked`, item is not consumed.

> **Pet unlock items (pets.yml give:)**
>
> Right-click in hand with no menu open. Consumes 1 and unlocks the pet. If already owned, reopens the picker without consuming.

> **Pet LuckyBlocks (pets.yml luckyblock:)**
>
> Right-click in hand with no menu open. Consumes + show; on empty pool or show-in-progress nothing is spent.

> **Bombs (bombs.yml)**
>
> Right-click in hand to throw where you aim. Detonate on arrival, wall collision, or timeout. Require the `jpprison-enchants` flag set to `ALLOW` where they break. If nothing breaks, the bomb is refunded (`bombs.refunded`).

> **Drills (drills.yml)**
>
> Right-click on the TOP face of a block (the hopper is planted there). Digs a vertical shaft and pays per broken block. Breaking the hopper stops it with partial payout, no refund.

> **Minion time items (minions.yml time-item:)**
>
> Right-click in hand to feed that specific mob. The FEED button in the submenu consumes matching items directly from inventory.

> **Shards and Runes**
>
> Not right-clicked. Insert them by clicking a slot in the shards/runes menu (opened from the pickaxe menu, slots 6 and 5). Left-click inserts/upgrades; right-click or shift extracts.

## Common Errors

> **Player not found**
>
> Item `give` and `/jpprison xp` require **online** players. Economy `give`/`remove`/`pay` and `/jpprison armor reset` accept offline players who have joined before.

> **That transfer was blocked**
>
> A `BalanceChangeEvent` from another plugin cancelled the movement. On `pay`, the sender is refunded.

> **The boost does nothing**
>
> Check the multiplier is inside `1.01..100` and the time format is valid (`30s | 2m | 2:30m`). Also make sure you are not exceeding the max duration.

> **Tab-complete does not suggest an ID**
>
> The system did not load it (check the `.yml` and console warnings), or the name has spaces (pets accept a clean name without color codes or glyphs).
